Learn more about the 2023 Teacher Brigade to Nicaragua: Travel Experience Delivers Challenge and Reward

In 2023, Canadian teachers participated in a teacher’s brigade to Guatemala and to Nicaragua, in partnership with the Alberta Teacher’s Association. Teachers experienced firsthand the time and effort and challenges associated with education in resource-scarce communities.
